Plyometric strength will greatly improve gymnastic performance. This instructional DVD covers how to improve this important element of gymnastics. Plyometrics by nature breaks down the body’s muscles, so this video covers the importance of how and when to implement this type of training into a gymnast’s workout. Although eighty percent of plyometrics is in the leg and ankle area, this video includes several drills for the arms and shoulders. Mas Watanabe clearly explains many plyometric drills with high level gymnasts from Byers Gymnastic Center demonstrate how to perform them with proper form and technique.
Masayuki Watanabe Masayuki Watanabe is world renown in the gymnastics world for his technical expertise of gymnastic movement. For the past 35 years, he has developed many world-class gymnasts, Olympians, national champions, and trains coaches, at all levels and from many countries. (More Info)
